There’s a lot more to a build than what you see.
So much goes into the planning, preparation and groundwork before the slab even goes down. A lot of it happens behind the scenes and probably goes unnoticed, but it’s where plenty of the hard mahi starts.
The hours put in early on are what help set the job up for everything that comes next.
The boys have had a big week getting everything tied up and ready for the concrete pour later this week.
Plenty of steel, plenty of hard work, and probably a few sore backs along the way!
Not long to go now — get that concrete down and we can crack on with the next stage.
Footings are well underway at our latest big build, and it’s great to see the project starting to come together.
There’s a lot of work that goes into the early stages of a build, and while it might not be the most glamorous part, it’s one of the most important. Solid foundations set the standard for everything that follows.
We’re a bit more active over on Instagram these days! 👷♂️
If you like seeing jobs come together from start to finish, jump over and give us a follow. We’ve got plenty of reels, site updates, and progress shots that don’t always make it onto Facebook.
See you over there 🤙

Last year we reached out to Troy at leadhead_nz to get the crew some wicked new caps for summer. Halfway through the year and the boys have absolutely thrashed them!
Still going strong, easy to clean, no wear & tear. Personalised embroidery by Crazy frog in Whangarei who helped design the BB for the front.
